Rossman ends Kennedy's SE Open Streak

JR Rossman stopped Tommy Kennedy from taking down his fourth straight SE Open 9-Ball Tour stop over the weekend at K-O Billiards in Enterprise Alabama, but it wasn't easy.

It was Kennedy coming out on top of the winners side with a 9-5 win over Rossman for the hot-seat. After a 9-5 win over TF Whittington by Rossman, the finals were on.

Kennedy raised to a 6-1 lead in the final match, but Rossman scraped and clawed back into the match. Play got a little sloppy late in the match, in large part due to the time as the match did not begin until after 3 AM on Saturday. In the end, it was Rossman with an 11-9 win and Kennedy handing the first place check to someone else for the first time all month.

Rossman earned $600 for first, while Kennedy settled for $440. Whittington and Jon Tedder filled out the top four spots. Dolores Glymp was the top female finisher and Joey Tucker the top junior player.

The SE Open 9-Ball Tour will be at the Orlando Billiard Center in Orlando, FL this weekend for their next event.

    Complete Payouts:
    1st JR Rossman $600.00
    2nd Tommy Kennedy $440.00
    3rd T.F. Whittington $340.00
    4th Jon Tedder $240.00
5th/6th Ashley Butler, Joey Tucker $140.00
