Immonen climbs to top of the BCA Points List

Mika Immonen is the new #1 player on the BCA Points List.

Immonen's third place finish at the Turning Stone Classic XII was just enough to catapult him past Johnny Archer into the #1 spot on the list.

But Immonen won't be able to rest on his laurels, as he will only have a 2.5 point lead over Archer when the 2008 Pro Player Championship's results are replaced by the results from the Open 10 Ball Professional Players Championship in Valley Forge, Pa later this month.

Other movers on the list were Shawn Putnam who climbed six spots into #4, Charlie Williams who climbed two spots to 6th place, Ralf Souquet who jumped from 32nd place to 9th place and Dennis Hatch who went from 27th place to 12th place on the list.

One change to the points list this year is the deletion of the worst finish by each player. While that change helped Immonen, he didn't need it to take over the #1 spot.
