Frost and Gutierrez Battle Late into Thursday night

The one pocket event at the 2004 Carolinas Open was down to two players late on Thursday night.

Scott Frost took the hot-seat with a win over David Gutierrez from Texas, but Gutierrez defeated Brian Jones in a marathon 3 hour match to earn the rematch with Frost in the finals. We will have final results from this event on Friday morning and look for the 9-ball brackets to be posted early Friday afternoon. One pocket brackets up to the finals are online now.

Diana Hoppe arrived in Goldsboro late Thurday night and we will be featuring pictures from the event starting on Friday.
