Hugo Pehrman Honorable Mention
Two Time United States Trick Shot Champion www.chefanton.com E-Mail chefantons@aol.com Welcome back to Chef Anton's Magical Menu of Pool Ball Wizardry. This year we had so many quality entries to Chef Anton's Original Trick Shot/Betcha Contest, it was difficult to select only three winners. So I would like to acknowledge some of the other unique entries with my Honorable Mention Award. This month's Honorable Mention goes to Hugo Pehrman from LakeWorth, Fl. This is an extremely "tricky" trick shot and a puzzling betcha. Personally I have won many free dinners with variations on this premise. Once mastered, you will never pay for a drink again. Place the 8 balls as diagrammed. Challenge anyone to pocket all 8 balls with one stroke of the cue. Seems impossible, right? Once the mark gives up, follow these instructions sent to me by Hugo. "Stroke the cue ball with low left hand english to pocket the one ball and then carom into the 2 ball. Force your cue stick between the three and four balls to pocket them in each side. With each hand, slam the 5, 6, 7, and 8 into the corner pockets. There it is, 8 balls in one stroke of the cue. Thanks again to Hugo Pehrman for his original trick shot. Thanks and Bon Appetit. SEND A BETCHA OR AN ORIGINAL TRICK SHOT AND WIN A FREE VIDEO I need your help. I am in search of learning every "betcha" in existence. For example, the oldest pool betcha known to man is where the three ball are balanced on the end rail in a pyramid configuration, and you bet your mark you can hit the other two balls first. This is exactly what I am interested in finding. So if you know any "grifts", even if they do not apply to pool, send it to me immediately. I will give an autographed video for every "betcha" sent to me that I have not seen before. If you are not sure if I have seen it or not, send it anyway.
