The Skeet Shooter
Two Time United States Trick Shot Champion www.chefanton.com E-Mail chefantons@aol.com Welcome back to Chef Anton's Magical Menu of Pool Ball Wizardry. Exciting News!!! We are proud to announce the arrival of our first child……Samantha Janelle was born on Halloween Morning at 4:08 am. She weighs in at a fit 6 lbs 7 oz and is an astonishing 19" tall. We just call her "Sammy J" In dedication to "Sammy J" here is this month's shot known as The Skeet Shooter. Announce to the crowd, you will now bank the 1 ball off 5 rails and simultaneously shoot the cue ball at the moving object to make all three balls in one shot. Set the balls up as diagrammed. Place the 2 ball and 3 ball approximately 2" in front of the corner pocket and make sure they are frozen. You will use the classic "pool cue sweep" to send the 1 ball banking around the table. To do this correctly, use a solid cue. You will break a two-piece cue…trust me, I know. Point the cue stick at the corner pocket where the 2 ball and 3 ball are. Lay it on the table so that the 1 ball is about 2 feet from the tip. Using two hands, sweep the cue stick diagonally and the 1 ball is off on its journey. When the 1 ball strikes the short rail nearest you, count to three and then shoot the cue ball at the head spot. With a lot of practice and a little luck, the 1 ball will fire into one corner pocket while the cue ball caroms off the 1 ball and pockets the 2 ball and 3 ball in the other corner pocket. Once you have it mastered, you can shoot it like I do on my video and in my live shows……..Blindfolded!!!!!!
SEND A BETCHA OR AN ORIGINAL TRICK SHOT AND WIN A FREE VIDEO I need your help. I am in search of learning every "betcha" in existence. For example, the oldest pool betcha known to man is where the three ball are balanced on the end rail in a pyramid configuration, and you bet your mark you can hit the other two balls first. This is exactly what I am interested in finding. So if you know any "grifts", even if they do not apply to pool, send it to me immediately. I will give an autographed video for every "betcha" sent to me that I have not seen before. If you are not sure if I have seen it or not, send it anyway.
