This month's trick shot is entitled The Pinball Machine. This was the second shot I ever developed. The first of course is the infamous Draw Bridge. I love this shot because of its simplicity, accuracy, and outstanding reaction. Ken "The Sarge" Aylesworth, an excellent trick shot artist from Arizona, has used this shot in numerous exhibitions and was actually the first to perform it at a major pool tournament. (For those of you interested in such trivial trivia, it was the Bicycle Club Tournament in 1992)

Set the shot up as diagrammed. Make sure both cue sticks are frozen to the rails. The idea is to shoot the nine ball with high right hand english and then while the nine is moving, shoot the cue ball with high right hand english. Properly shot, the nine ball and the cue ball will simulataneously go around the pinball machine, hitting all of the "bumpers, bells, and whistles." The 9-ball will make the 8-ball and then the cue ball will make the nine ball. This is truly a classic.

SEND A BETCHA OR AN ORIGINAL TRICK SHOT AND WIN A FREE VIDEO

I need your help. I am in search of learning every "betcha" in existence. For example, the oldest pool betcha known to man is where the three ball are balanced on the end rail in a pyramid configuration, and you bet your mark you can hit the other two balls first. This is exactly what I am interested in finding.

So if you know any "grifts", even if they do not apply to pool, send it to me immediately. I will give an autographed video for every "betcha" sent to me that I have not seen before. If you are not sure if I have seen it or not, send it anyway. Please e-mail me at chefantons@aol.com or mail your entries to:
