Welcome back to Chef Anton's Magical Menu of Pool Ball Wizardry. Some trick shots come and go, but shots like this will be around forever. This month's Honorable Mention goes to Mr. Leonard Cornell - Quebec, Canada.

Leonard proves that you do not have to recreate the wheel to invent a new trick shot. You can take an old concept, put a new spin on it, and develop a shot from it. This is an extremely creative trick shot and a puzzling betcha. Set the 7, 8, and 9 balls as diagrammed. Do not start with the pool cue on the table. Challenge your mark to pocket all three balls in one shot. Seems impossible, right? Once he gives up, follow these instructions sent to me by Leonard.

"Place the 7 ball and 8 ball on top of cushions in corner pockets. Set the cue ball near the center of the table and the 9 ball near the corner pocket. Shoot the cue ball with high right hand english, you will pocket the 9 ball in the corner pocket and when the cue ball comes back from three cushions you take your cue and place it on top of cushions. The cue ball will strike the cue stick and pocket the 7 and 8 balls in the corner."

Thanks again to Mr. Leonard Cornell for his original trick shot.

Thanks and Bon Appetit.

SEND A BETCHA OR AN ORIGINAL TRICK SHOT AND WIN A FREE VIDEO

I need your help. I am in search of learning every "betcha" in existence. For example, the oldest pool betcha known to man is where the three ball are balanced on the end rail in a pyramid configuration, and you bet your mark you can hit the other two balls first. This is exactly what I am interested in finding.

So if you know any "grifts", even if they do not apply to pool, send it to me immediately. I will give an autographed video for every "betcha" sent to me that I have not seen before. If you are not sure if I have seen it or not, send it anyway. Please e-mail me at chefantons@aol.com or mail your entries to:
