I'm sorry for the late announcement on this event. We had circumstances that were out of our control.

The event is scheduled for November 1-2, 2003.

We have 14 Olhausen pool tables and 6 Brunswick tables to play on. The players meeting will be at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31. Play will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The location of the event has changed but will still be in Atlanta. It will be hosted by the Pool Room, 1355 Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA 30062

The Pool Room is supplying a shuttle service from the airport if arrangements are made ahead of time and also between the hotel and the pool room.

The entry fee is $100, the top 7 players from each tour are eligible. After October 15, all unclaimed spots from all tours will be up for grabs and will go on a first come first serve basis. Unpaid players that are not present at the players meeting will not be included in the draw. All entries should be sent to the WPBA at their temporary address:

The host hotel is The Crestwood Suites, telephone 678-560-6667. When Kelly last spoke to Kevin he was going to set up a rate and expected it to be in the $35 range. The block will probably be under the name "The Pool Room." She'll try and confirm this as soon as possible.

Prize Money: The WPBA Classic Tour will be expanded to include 7 events next year. The host room is adding $5000.00. First place will be a paid entry into each of the 7 events equaling $3500.00. The remaining added money and entry fee money will be distributed in the top 50% of the field.

The top 7 in the point standings on the AWBT and the other regional tours will be invited to this tournament. Come and play and earn those points! Remember, sometimes people in the top 7 can't go, so the next in line will be invited.
