Member Meetings
Along with our mission to promote and enhance women's billiards in
Arizona, AWBT places a strong emphasis on professionalism. We believe
that our commitment to excellence in all aspects of tournament play
is the key factor in achieving our goals.
Starting January of 2004, the WPBA has requested that the Regional Tours collect the WPBA Regional Tour member dues of $25 from the players in addition to their Regional Tour dues. Players electing not to pay the WPBA dues will still be able to participate in the regional tour events, however, they will not be earning semi-professional points nor accruing WPBA points toward their WPBA amateur standings.
For example, if you are the AWBT Points Leader at the end of December, 2004 which awards Entry into all the 2005 WPBA Events, or you have won a Qualifier for a WPBA Event, your membership to the WPBA would ALREADY have to be current, to be eligible to play in those WPBA events. You can NOT decide to pay the WPBA Membership fee then, the next person on the list who has paid the WPBA fee already for 2004 will be eligible for that spot.
