Tournament Winner Angel Paglia

On August 8, 1999, Sixshooters in Phoenix hosted the season opener for the Arizona Women's Billiard Tour. Along with many spectators, 38 players attended the 8-Ball bar table event ready to kick off the new season.

Angelina Paglia, our State 9-Ball Champion, moved right along the winner's side with only one loss in the quarter finals, came back to win the event. A great tournament for Susan Mello. She finished second undefeated until the final. Excellent performances from Nicole McCue and Kristin Haney earned them third and fourth place finishes, respectively.

In addition to the spectacular matches, there were many attractive give aways. Two cues valued at $475 and $250 by Bilancia Cues, a one year subscription to Pool & Billiard Magazine, and a $35 gift certificate to Carrabba's were all part of AWBT drawings courtesy of our sponsors.
