The Arizona Women's Billiard Tour finished out its second season with the largest turn-out event at Sixshooters in Phoenix on December 4 and 5,1999. The season finale brought numerous spectators and a total of 42 players from around the state to compete for the last title of the millennium.
Kristin Haney proved her strength as an eight-ball player and captured her first big table event with a vengeance. She received $259 and 25 points which secured her place at the top of the leader board for the season. Susan Mello finished a close second after defeating Haney in the first match of the finals. Great performances from Jennifer Long and Nicole McCue earned them third and fourth place finishes respectively.
AWBT is grateful to Bilancia Cues for donating a $500 cue for our dart contest winner Alex McInosh and a $225 cue for our member drawing winner Katie Gray. We are also indebted to Sixshooters and its staff members for providing a $500 added event and a host site.
AWBT would like to thank our sponsors, Pool & Billiard Magazine, C J. Wiley, Billiard Boutique, and Rolling Hills Golf Course for additional prizes at this event. Our dart contest raised $290 towards our Points Fund and provided our members and spectators with exciting chances to win prizes from these sponsors.
