Once again Sixshooters in Phoenix proudly sponsored an Arizona Women's Billiard Tour stop. New members as well as our regulars joined to form a total of 33 participants to compete for the title of "Get Ready for BCA" on April 24, 1999.

In preparation for the Billiard Congress of America's 8-Ball Championships in Las Vegas, this event featured 8-ball on 7-foot tables. With a few tournaments under their belts, our touring members from this event seemed relaxed yet kept a competitive edge during their matches.

Kristin Haney showed her strength on the 7-foots and captured her second title of the season along with 25 tour points. Jean Vaillancourt finished a close second after an early loss in the first round, and a great performance from Meiko Yamanobe earned her a third place finish.

Angelina Paglia, our State 9-Ball Champion, also showed a respectable finish at fourth place.
