BCA Open 9-Ball Championships

Thursday round features lopsided matches.

Racking the balls down 0-10, Ralf Souquet made one of his few appearances at the table.
So far, the thursday matches are in complete contrast to the long hill-hill matches from last night. Returning champion George San Souci handed Ralf Souquet his first loss in the form of an 11-0 pounding while Kim Davenport showed that he has recovered nicely from his hill-hill match with Danny Medina by knocking Michael Coltrain out of the event with an 11-1 beating.

Meanwhile, on the women's side, Helena Thornfeldt had been cruising along nicely until she ran into The Duchess of Doom who handed Helena a 9-2 beating while Karen Corr knocked Dawn Hopkins to the one loss side with a 9-4 win.

The final four players on the winners side in each bracket are now set. The men's brackets will feature Johnny Archer vs Marcus Chamat and Shannon Daulton vs George San Souci while the women's brackets will feature frequent rivals Allison Fisher and Vivian Villarreal and Karen Corr will face Gerda Hofstatter.
