BCA Open 9-Ball Championships

Returning champions in the hot seat.

George San Souci is in comfortable territory.
Even with all the new names and faces that played this year at the BCA Open 9-Ball Championship, the two returning champions from last year are sitting in the hot seat as we move into the final 2 days of the event.

Allison Fisher moved to the top of the women's brackets with a convincing 9-2 win over Gerda Hofstatter. Allison has only been tested in one match, in which she had to go to the hill-hill game to defeat Vivian Villarreal. Allison has won her other matches by a combined score of 45-9.

The men's hot seat holder is George San Souci who defeated Jeremy Jones in the finals last year. He reached the hot seat by defeating Jones' friend Johnny Archer by the score of 11-7 in the final match of the night on thursday night.

Matches scheduled for tomorrow are Jennifer Chen vs Karen Corr and then the winner of that match against Gerda Hofstatter and also 'The Magician' Efren Reyes vs Mika Immonen fresh off Mika's victory at the USAB Challenger Circuit event last month.
