Gerda Hofstatter will get another shot at defening champion Allison Fisher.

The finals of the women's bracket at the BCA Open 9-Ball Championship will be a rematch of the winners bracket final between the #1 ranked Allison Fisher and #2 ranked Gerda Hofstatter.

Hofstatter defeated Jennifer Chen in the semi final match by the score of 7-5. Gerda was ahead 6-5 with Chen running out to even the score at 6 but when Chen went to far with the cue ball after making the 8 in game 12, Chen was forced to shoot the 9 in the side instead of the corner as she originally intended. Chen lined up and fired the 9 for the side but it missed. Chen fell to her knees heartbroken but composed herself and stood up and walked over and shook Gerda's hand to concede the match.

Gerda suffered her only loss in the tournament to her opponent in the finals, Allison Fisher by the score of 9-2.

Prior to the finals of the women's brackets tomorrow, the semi finals of the men's bracket pitting Mika Immonen vs Johnny Archer for the right to battle defending champion George San Souci will take place. Matches begin at 2pm on saturday.
