BCA Open 9-Ball Championships underway

The BCA Open 9-Ball Championships got underway on Sunday with a who's who of top male and female 9-ball players from across the globe.

The ladies division saw Jeanette Lee fall to Robin Dodson 9-8 in the first round. Lee lead the match 8-7, but was unable to score the final game. Dodson will face Line Kjorsvik on Monday. Kjorsvik came back from 4-6 down, to defeat Stefanie Boch 9-7.

The men's division saw three matches go to hill-hill. Jimmy Wetch defeated Shintaro Sugaya, Jim Rempe defeated John Horsfall, and Mika Immonen defeated Danny Barouty; all by the score of 11-10.
