Hill-hill thrillers at BCA Open 9-Ball Championships

Day two of the BCA Open 9-Ball Championship has reached the evening break with round one and one group of matches from round two complete.

The round two matches saw 5 of 8 matches go to hill-hill. Young-Hwa Jeong, Mika Immonen, Johnny Archer, Teddy Garrahan and Shin-Mei Liu all won hill-hill matches. Jeong trailed early to Luc Salvas, but came back for the victory. Liu trailed 8-6 to Angel Paglia, but came back for the win.

Other winners were Helena Thornfeldt, Sarah Ellerby and Ming Ng. Thornfeldt went up early against Pheobe Choy, but Choy came back to tie the match at 6-6 before Thornfeldt won the match.
