BCA Open 9-Ball Championships Day Three complete

Day three of the BCA Open 9-Ball Championships is in the books and the men's division is seeing surprising results.

The biggest surprise of the day is the play of George Breedlove. Breedlove was undefeated with wins over Oliver Ortmann and Frankie Hernandez going into play on Tuesday, and he remained undefeated with an 11-8 win over Corey Deuel. Breedlove will face Rodney Morris on Wednesday. Morris easily dispatched Santos Sambajon 11-3 on Tuesday.

The one-loss side also saw some surprising results. Reigning champion Charlie Williams was sent to the bleachers by Nick Van Den Berg via an 11-6 loss. Also being eliminated early, was Shannon Daulton, who fell to Hiroshi Takenaka 11-3 on the one-loss side.

The top seeds in the ladies division moved along on the winners side. Allison Fisher send Tiffany Nelson to the one-loss side with a 9-7 victory, and Karen Corr came from behind to defeat Jennifer Chen 9-6. Fisher will face Ewa Laurence and Corr will face Gerda Hofstatter on Wednesday.

Complete brackets are posted for both divisions and all Tuesday matches are entered.
