Denver 10-Ball Open Draws World's Top Pro Pool Players to Mile-High City October 14-18

Competition will be intense as the world's best professional billiards players shoot it out during the Denver Pro 10-Ball Open to be held October14-18th at the Denver Merchandise Mart. Last year's Denver winner, Francisco Bustamante of Kiel, Germany, currently sits atop the year-long point fund rankings, and will return to defend his title.

The Denver 10-Ball Open is the sixth of eight events in the Camel Pro Billiards Series, the premier professional billiards program in the United States. Series events offer fans rare opportunities to see five days of professional pool competition at the highest level.

Top players such as Steve Mizerak, Johnny Archer, Reed Pierce and Nick Varner will compete in the 96-player field vying for a $75,000 purse and position in the Camel year-long points standing. This year's Camel Pro Billiards Series point fund is $300,000.

During the event, players are available to meet fans and sign autographs. In addition, Mike Massey, world trick-shot champion, will perform his crowd-pleasing show.

Play runs from 10 a.m. to midnight, on Wednesday and Thursday , and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, with the final matches on Sunday at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets cost $7 for a general admission daily pass, or $20 for a VIP daily pass, or $75 for a VIP full-event pass.
