Top Pro Pool Stars Jeanette Lee and Francisco Bustamante To Go Head-To-HeadThe Camel APA Pro Am Shoot Out will mark the first challenge match between a Women's Pro Billiards Association (WPBA) star and a Camel Pro Billiards Champion. The flamboyant Lee is a top touring professional with the WPBA. She owns many titles, as well as Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors. The very visible Black Widow has been featured in numerous publications including Sports Illustrated and Maxxim, and has appeared on television and in film. Lee is regularly seen on ESPN broadcasts of the WPBA Classic Tour. Francisco Bustamante is considered by many to be the best in the world. On his way to the '98 Camel Pro Billiards Series title, he performed a neat triple play by winning an 8-Ball, a 9-Ball and a 10-Ball event. "Django" draws huge crowds in Europe, where he makes his home, and in his native Philippines. In addition to his Camel titles, he won the 1999 $50,000 winner-take-all ESPN Challenge of Champions and Player of the Year honors. The two pool stars will race to seven in a 9-Ball match presided over by Tom "Dr. Cue" Rossman. Rossman, a popular trick shot showman, will also entertain the crowds with his trick shot exhibition. After Lee and Bustamante settle the question of "who's the best," randomly selected APA members who are 21 or older will have a chance to challenge the pros in both singles and doubles formats. |
