The Predator Women's Florida 9-Ball Open
January 18 - 20, 2002 Capones Billiards Spring Hill, Florida The Predator Women's Florida 9-Ball Open kicks off this weekend at Capones Billiards in Spring Hill Florida. The field of 27 players is packed with talent from WPBA players like Vivian Villarreal, Ewa Laurence, Tiffany Nelson, Belinda Campos and Melissa Little to top Florida talent like Tracie Majors, Jeannie Seaver and Sarah Ellerby. The festivities got underway thursday evening with a charity event for the disaster relief fund. The first part of the event featured various players facing off in a scotch doubles tournament. This event was won by the team of Kim Caso and Florida's player of the year Tracie Majors. They defeated the team of Belinda Campos and Melissa Little in the finals. The was followed by a 'Challenge the Pros' segment and then a pro-am event where the winner had a chance to pick up a cue case donated by Predator Cues and signed by all the players. The charity event raised over $500 for the disaster relief fund. |
