7/14/01 - Jon's calendar has been updated.  Jon will be going to the Invitational World Team Cup in Taiwan in August!  He will be joined by Loree Jon Jones, Ewa Mataya, Troy Frank and Earl Strickland.

7/6/01 - Jon added to his excitement (see date 3/11/01 below) about playing in the World Games by stating this today, "Makes pool a sport now.  Since pool is a part of the World Games, it finalizes the question, "is pool a sport?" 

6/18/01 - There's no other way to say this, except just about every page of Jon's website has been updated today.  Including new updates and new pictures!

5/22/01 - Jon had a great tournament at the BCA 9-Ball Open in Vegas!  He finished 4th!  Read about his great tournament here.

3/11/01 - Congratulations Jon!  Jon will represent the United States in pool's inaugural journey into International Olympic Committee-recognized international sports festivals at the 2001 World Games in Akita, Japan in August.  (Buddy Hall, Jeanette Lee and Vivian Villarreal will be the other United States player representatives).   When asked about being invited to this event, Jon expressed excitement by stating, "I feel great by being invited," then after a short pause he added proudly, "it is the second most prestigious event in the world next to the Olympics.  2500 athletes compete, and pool was just accepted."

1/2/01 - Congratulations Jon!  Jon finished the year 2000 ranked 2nd on the Men's Professional Pool Points List which is Officially recognized by the Billiards Congress of America!  What an outstanding year Jon had!  Click here for the rankings or Jon's finishes!

5/23/00 - Jon received $500 and a certificate at the BCA tournament week in Las Vegas, NV for the highest speed of the "Sardo Tight Rack Fastest Break Tournament."  Jon had the fastest break of the Male Professionals - 29.5 mph.  Congratulations Jon!
