Day three of the WPBA Delta Classic at Samstown Casino in Robinsonville, MS is underway and the big story so far is Kim White from Houston Texas.
White, the 2000 Tour Champion on the Hunter Classic Tour, is undefeated and has scored wins over Tracie Majors, Jeanette Lee, Ming Ng and Gerda Hofstatter. Her next match will be against Jennifer Chen on Saturday. White can finish no worse than 7th place, which will best her previous high finish of 9th place at the Women's US Open last year.
The other match on the winners side will feature Helena Thornfeldt vs #2 ranked Allison Fisher.
#1 ranked Karen Corr has bounced back from her early loss to score wins over Sueyen Rhee, Janet Atwell, Kelly Oyama and AzBilliards Rookie of the Year Sarah Ellerby. Corr will face Gerda Hofstatter next. Other matches on the one loss side are Jeanette Lee vs Ewa Laurence, Kim Shaw vs Megan Minerich and Monica Webb vs Vivian Villarreal.
