“We’re very excited to host our first Juniors Championships.  We believe it’s important to introduce young players to the sport, and this is APA’s first step in doing so.  We plan to continue this event annually, and anticipate it will continue to grow over the next several years,” said APA President Reneé Lyle.

The four-day event includes a banquet and academic recognition ceremony on July 17 that will feature “The Black Widow” Jeanette Lee.

The format for the events will be modified single elimination 9-Ball and will be played on 7-foot tables.  Prizes and trophies will be awarded to Champions and Runners-Up in each of the three Skill Level Tiers.
