“Mad” Max Eberle wins 4th Annual Shooters Labor Day Tournament

Shooters Billiards in Riverside, California hosted their 4th Annual $5000.00 added Labor Day tournament with a field of 102 players. Max Eberle, House Pro at Hollywood Billiards, found him undefeated after his 9-6 victory over Billy Palmer from Northern California. Billy Palmer moves to the one loss bracket, matching up with long time player Arturo Rivera. Arturo's slow, methodical style of play gains speed as he leads the match 6-3 in a race to 7. Billy Palmer fights his way back to a 7-6 victory.

The final race to 11 started late, Sunday evening and about 50 spectators couldn't wait to see the outcome. Max Eberle's graceful style got him off to a 7-3 lead in the final. Max attempted a jump shot and fouled. Billy fighting back towards victory still trails 7-6. Max puts the pressure on as he climbs to a 9-7 lead. Finally Max Eberle wins the final 11-8.

Young gun, Damien Allishan was a long shot in the tournament and found himself in 4th place finish.
