Kamui’s Ongoing Quest for Excellence

For the second year in a row, Kamui Brand honored billiard student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA as part of their Quest for Excellence award during the Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) Junior National 9-Ball Championships.

This year, all junior nationals participants with a 4.0 GPA were invited to answer the following questions:

1.      How would you improve the billiard industry? And why?
2.      How would you improve the image of the sport?
3.      Why should you be chosen to receive the Quest for Excellence award?

Of the 14 submissions, John Bertone, Kamui USA Brand Representative, selected four lucky recipients. This year’s winners were:

1.      Taylor Hansen, age 17 (Mankato, MN)
2.      Aryana Lynch, age 13 (Allen, Texas)
3.      Karsyn Terry, age 17 (Chicago, Illinois)
4.      Justin Toye, age 15 (Bayville, NJ)

These four individuals will be featured as part of Kamui’s Quest for Excellence, and also received:

·         A custom Quest for Excellence award
·         A professional photoshoot with senior designer/photographer JP Parmentier
·         Over $500 in Kamui product as part of the Kamui sponsorship
·         A custom one-page Player Profile Website by On The Wire Creative Media
·         Their very own collectible Kamui Players Card
