The U.S. Open will crown a new champion today. Only four players have a shot. On the one-loss side Eklant Kaci will face Jung-Lin Chang after Kaci defeated Naoyuki Oi 11-8 and Chang eliminated Ping Chung Ko by the same margin.
Our two unscathed players are Jayson Shaw and Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz. Francisco earned his berth by besting Kaci 11-5 and Shaw got there by defeating Ko.
The action will all be seen today beginning at 1 PM EST on the Accu-Stats live stream. And of course AZB will continue to provide you with live scoring and interactive brackets. So plan on spending the afternoon watching the best pool in the world and pick your favorite to become our next champ.
