Dave Hemmah completed an undefeated run through the field at the Pechauer West Coast Tour stop at Hot Shots Billiards in Cypress, CA.
Hemmah started Sunday play with a win over Alex Laoingco followed by a hill-hill victory over Lorry DeLeon for the hot-seat.
DeLeon came out on fire in his match against Laoingco on the one-loss side and took an early 7-3 lead. A missed 8-ball let Laoingco back into the match where he quickly knotted the match at 7-7. DeLeon got to the hill first, and then won the case game at hill-hill to earn the rematch with Hemmah in the finals.
The finals turned in an exhibition by Hemmah as he caught a gear and added a couple nice rolls to score a 13-5 win.
Hemmah earned $1000 for first, while DeLeon settled for $700. Laoingco and Corey Harper filled out the top four spots. To no one's surprise, Arizona's Jimmy Mendoza turned in a nice 5th place finish tied with Jeff Meaux.
The Pechauer West Coast Tour will be at the Amazon Sports Bar in Portland, OR next weekend for their next event.
