Ferguson shoots down Rifleman in Melbourne

Bill Ferguson came back to avenge his only loss and won the Seminole Florida Pro Tour at Player's Billiard Club in Melbourne, Florida.

Ferguson and Buddy 'The Rifleman' Hall navigated their way through an all-star field of 61 players that included such notables as Earl Strickland, Rodney Morris, Tommy Kennedy, Jimmy Reid, Ray Martin and Robb Saez.

The match for the hot-seat went to Buddy with an 8-3 win. That sent Ferguson to the left side of the board where Josh Degler was waiting after Degler's 8-5 win over Tommy Kennedy.

Ferguson handed Dagler an identical 8-5 loss to set up the rematch between Ferguson and Hall in the finals.

The final match saw Ferguson score a hard fought 9-7 win over Hall for first place.

Ferguson earned $3500 in prize money, while Hall pocketed $2000 for second. Degler and Kennedy filled out the top four spots.

The Florida Pro Tour will be at Planet 9 Ball in Tampa, Florida on June 11 - 12 for their next event.
