McCreesh and Treadway score Planet Pool Wins

The Planet Pool Tour made it's way to Breaktime Sports Grill & Pub in Salisbury, MD over the weekend for both open 8-ball and 9-ball events.

In the Open 9-Ball division, Shaun Wilkie made the most of his return to the tour after an absence of over a year and took the hot-seat with a 9-6 win over Ryan McCreesh. McCreesh then eliminated Kevin West hill-hill to set up the rematch with Wilkie in the finals. McCreesh has better luck against Wilkie in the finals, as he came out on top 11-6.

McCreesh pocketed $1000 for first, while Wilkie took home $600 for second. West and Jimmy Tyson filled out the top four positions.

In the ladies 9-Ball division, Pamela Treadway continued her red-hot play with her third straight tournament win. Treadway defeated Malea Haacke for the hot-seat 7-2 and then defeated Haacke again 9-4 in the finals. Treadway has now gone undefeated in three straight events.

Treadway earned $350, while Haacke settled for $250. Kathy Friend and Kim Sudler filled out the top four spots.

In the Open 8-Ball Division, Josh Brothers scored a hill-hill win over Ed Deska for the win. In the ladies 8-Ball division, Janet Keith came out on top of a hill-hill match with Kathless Lawless for first place.

The NUTS qualifiers for 9 ball were Shaun Wilkie, Jimmy Tyson, Rob Hart, Don Steele, John Moody Jr., Jeremy Montgomery, Charlie DeHaven and Greg Sabins. The NUTS qualifiers for 8 ball were Josh Brothers, Keith Wood, Barry Bowman, June Prescop, Freddy Scott, Johnny Cisneros, Brandon Shuff and Daniel Strain.
