Seoul, Korea- Dragon Promotions finalized contracts with 4 major broadcast channels in Korea and is now officially airing its events on a total of 5 channels including ESPN in USA. The channels are based in South Korea and include XSPORTS, XTM, and TVN. XSPORTS is the #2 sports channel in Korea, while XTM and TVN are total entertainment channels airing movies, comedies, music, and sports. DP has re-newed its contracts with MBC ESPN the #1 sports channel in Korea as well as ESPN in USA.
DP has created new events for its line-up for 2007-2009 which will include Europe vs Korea, special women TV invitationals, trickshot events, and carom events. Previous events will continue on such as the popular Korea vs USA, Empress Cup, and Korea Pro Tour Championships. All total between USA and Korea, DP will produce over 40 events in 2007.
The new partnership with these networks have opened a doorway into opportunities with vast corporate sponsorships. Samsung, one of the largest companies in the world, is the parent company of channels such as XSPORTS and TVN. Samsung is the 9th largest company in Asia and is currently ranked #46 in Fortune's Top 500, bigger than companies such as BMW, Target, and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

In 2004 when DP ventured into Korea, pool was not televised and tournaments were very scarce. DP started producing events in Korea without television and little sponsor support. Brunswick Billiards came on board and in less than 3 years time Dragon Promotions has made pool a top ratings sport, attracting the interest of serious sponsors and many networks. DP billiard events also air on a weekly time slot with many spin off programs and specials.
