The thirty-eighth stop of the 2006/2007 McDermott All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was hosted at Antique Billiard Museum, in Colorado Springs, CO, over the weekend of May 5-6. The 7th Annual Jack Michaely Memorial featured a $1,000 added purse (for only a $5 entry fee!) with a full sixty-four players in a double-elimination 9-ball format on 7-foot Diamond Smart Tables. Anna Kostanian (Albuquerque, NM) ran undefeated to the finals. In the hot-seat match, Kostanian comfortably dispatched Nick Tafoya (Albuquerque, NM) 9-4. Earlier in the A-bracket semi-finals, Kostanian outplayed Steve Flanigan 9-2, while Tafoya knocked off Nate Smith (Colorado Springs, CO) 9-7. In the B-side quarterfinals Ruben Silva (Colorado Springs) eliminated Flanigan 7-3, while Jeff McKeon (Colorado Springs) ousted Nate Smith 7-6; Silva took out McKeon 7-5 in the semifinals; and in the B-side finals Silva ended Tafoya's run by a 7-4 margin. The tourney finals was a one-set, winner break, race to 11, and Silva kept his momentum going by taking care of Kostanian by a an 11-6 margin for the title!

By virtue of third-place Nick Tafoya being the highest-finishing ACS member, he qualified for a free singles entry into the 2007 ACS Nationals in Las Vegas – courtesy of the ACS.
