Bora Jeong won her first JPNEWT event and WPBA Qualifier at Comet Billiards on June9th/10th.
Bora went undefeated through the field posting wins over Supadra Boonpasook, Amy Walker, Candi Rego and Zinnie Panju to meet up with Caroline Pao for the hot seat. Bora then sent Caroline to the left side of the chart in a 7-3 win.
Caroline posted wins over Kiana Clark, Morgan Steinman, Kathy Friend, and Melony Page before losing the hot seat race. Caroline then won 7-2 over Zinnie Panju to rematch with Bora in the finals.
The outcome of the finals would be an almost exact repeat of the hot seat match with Bora winning the event and Qualifier with a 7-2 score.
