Bogies Billiards and Games Schedule Junior Nationals Qualifiers

South Texas Junior Pool Tournament (February 15, 2008): Attention all junior players that are 19 years of age and younger. Bogies Billiards and Games located at 3040 FM 1960 East (at Aldine Westfield) in Houston, Texas, will be hosting qualifiers on March 22nd and April 26th for the Junior Nationals being held July 10-14, 2008, in Tucson, Arizona.

The schedule is as follows:
February 23, 2008 – regular trophy event
March 22, 2008 – Junior Nationals qualifier (two spots available: one boy, one girl)
April 26, 2008 – Junior Nationals qualifier (four spots available: two boys, two girls)

Practice for these events will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue up until the 11:30 a.m. player's meeting (11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.), with play beginning at 12 p.m. The entry is $5 with $15 paid for the Annual BEF Membership Fee (for qualifiers only).

The format will include two divisions: boys 19 and under, and girls 19 and under. The game is nine-ball, Texas Express rules, with races to be determined. In addition, you will lag for the break, alternate breaks.

As a side note, each player who qualifies at the STJPT Bogies location will be given $50 toward their expenses to the Junior Nationals compliments of Bogies Billiards and Games. There will be an ongoing drive to raise additional funds for qualifying players!
