Tommy Kennedy brought his SE Open 9-Ball Tour to Jim Bob's Pool Hall in Gulfport, MS this weekend where the $2000 added prize fund drew 83 players.
A local player known simply as Luc went undefeated through the field and took first place. Second place was taken by another local, Lil' John. Luc went undefeated and defeated Lil' John for the hot seat and again in the finals.
Luc pocketed $1100 for first, while Lil' John settled for $700 in second place prize money. Jamie Farrell and Kennedy filled out the top 4 spots.
Marcia Manual was the top finishing female and the top finishing junior position was split between Daniel Middleton and Jeff Allen.
Kennedy expressed his thanks to Jim & Bob, the owners of Jim Bob's. "This was our biggest turnout of the year, and we owe it to Jim and Bob as well as their families for making it possible" said Kennedy. Kennedy also thanked Jerry Pechauer and all of the other sponsors of the SE Open 9-Ball Tour for their help this season.
The SE Open 9-Ball Tour will be at Strokers Billiards in Palm Harbor FL next weekend.
