A field of 52 ladies came out for the OB Cue Ladies Tour Stop at The Billiard Den in Richardson, TX.
The story of this tournament was Colorado's Bonnie Plowman. Plowman, no stranger to regional tours in the western US, defeated Michelle Abernathy 7-3 to start her campaign on Sunday and then followd that up with a 7-4 win over Leslie Anne Rogers.
In the match for the hot-seat, Plowman's undefeated run was brought to a halt by tour regular Lisa Marr by the score of 7-4.
Plowman collected herself and took the temporary trip to the left side of the board. A quick 7-3 win over Heather Lloyd on the one loss side was all it took for Plowman to earn her place in the finals against Marr.
The first set of the double elimination finals went to hill-hill before Plowman scored the 7-6 win to force set #2. Set #2 went a little quicker with Plowman scoring the 7-4 win.
Plowman pocketed $750 for first place as well as the WPBA Qualifier.
