Fujiwara wins Seminole Pro Tour Stop

The field of forty eight players at the Seminole Pro Tour Stop at Bankshot Billiards in Jacksonville, Florida on October 10-12 included such household names as Corey Deuel, Gabe Owen, Jeremy Jones, Stevie Moore and Tommy Kennedy. But it was none of these players that earned the first place prize on this day.

Neil Fujiwara was undefeated over three days, including wins over David Howard, Jeremy Jones and Tommy Kennedy on his way to the hot-seat.

On the one loss side, Stevie Moore won six straight matches eliminating such notables as Jeremy Jones and Gabe Owen. Moore would have to settle for third place though, as he finally lost to Tommy Kennedy 8-5 in the semi-final match.

The win over Moore earned Kennedy another shot at Fujiwara in the finals, but Fujiwara was unstoppable on this day and scored a 9-6 win in the extended final match.

Fujiwara pocketed $3000 for first and Kennedy took home $2300 for second.
