WPBA Day Three

Ga Young Kim

Midway through day three at the 2003 Brunswick Billiards US Open, there are some new names on the winners side.

Angel Paglia fell to Korea's Ga Young Kim on the winners side 9-2 for her first loss. Paglia will face Jennifer Barretta in her next match. Kim will face 'The Viper' Melissa Little for the opportunity to face Loree Jon Jones. The winner of that match will be guaranteed a spot in the TV rounds.

Other players remaining undefeated on Saturday are Melissa Herndon, Monica Webb, Gerda Hofstatter and Karen Corr.

Allison Fisher has bounced back nicely from her early loss to Paglia. Fisher has won three straight matches, including wins over Ewa Laurence and Helena Thornfeldt. Fisher will face Jeannie Seaver in her next match. Other marquee matchups on the one-loss side will feature Dawn Hopkins vs Vivian Villarreal and Jennifer Chen vs Jeanette Lee.

Complete brackets for the event are posted on the WPBA website.
