Marr comes back to win Hunter Tour stop

Lisa Marr is back to her old habit of winning Hunter Classic Women's Tour events.

Marr took the hot-seat with a dominating 7-1 win over Toni Tucker. Tucker moved to the one-loss side to play Terri Kelley in the semi-finals. Kelley led the match 6-4 and was on her way to notching the game game, but surprisingly missed the 9-ball to allow Tucker back into the match. Tucker took full advantage of the chance and won that game as well as the next two for the 7-6 win.

Last month, at the Hunter event in League City Texas, Marr was the one coming from the one-loss side. She scored back-to-back wins in the finals for the victory. This time, Tucker would have to beat Marr twice for the victory. Tucker scored a 7-6 win in the first set to force the second set, but the final set was won by Marr 7-2 for her second straight Hunter Tour victory.

Marr, who is sponsored by Jones Brothers Pool Tables and Reynolds Custom Cues in Little Rock, won $750 along with a qualifier for a 2004 WPBA event. Tucker pocketed $525 for second. Kelley and Leslie Anne Rogers filled out the top four spots.
