Blaze ABCD Tour 1st stop took place at One Shot Billiards in Somerset NJ Saturday January 16. A strong field came out to play, players like Derek Schwager, Ben Sadowski, Wali Muhammad, Denise Reeve, Chris Ruggerio, Bob Madara, Bob Negron, and Jarraed Garzone.
Leading the way on the top half of the bracket was Jarraed Garzone with wins over Bob Negron 7-3, Ben Sadowski 7-2, and Sandi 7-1. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Derek Schwager wins over Paul Johnson 7-1, Peter Shumski 7-3, and Wali Muhammad 7-3.
Playing for the hot seat was Derek Schwager Vs Jarraed Garzone, this match was all Schwager from the start winning easily 7-2, sending Garzone to the one lost side. Waiting for Garzone on the one lost side was Ben Sadowski. This was a great match that went back and forth but at the end it was Sadowski coming away with the win 7-5 to get to the finals.
In the finals it was Sadowski Vs Schwager, Sadowski has to beat Schwager twice to win the event but in the first set it was Schwager pulling away from the start winning easily 7-3 to win the event .
