Kielar wins Mezz Pro Am Tour Stop

Adam Kielar and Eddie Abraham

The Mezz  Pro-Am Tour made its way to Maine Line Billiards in Frazer PA on Sunday March 7th where a strong field of 41 came out to play, including top players like Adam Kielar, Eddie Abraham, Shaun Wilkie, Joe Hong, Gregg McAndrews, Caroline Pao, and Sharon O'Hanlon.

Leading the top half of the bracket  was young Adam Kielar with wins over Lou Patrikios 7-1, Sharon O'Hanlon 7-2, Ray Lee 7-4,  Josh Brothers 7-4, and Gregg McAndrews 7-3 .  Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Shaun Wilkie with wins over Tom Bow 7-1, Michael Praseutsy 7-0, Dan Zetts 7-1, VJ Mcglone 7-3 and Joe Hong 7-2.

Playing for the hot seat it was Adam Kielar vs Shaun Wilkie. This was a great match that went hill hill with Adam “the stealer” Kielar winning 7-6 to get the hot seat and sending Shaun Wilkie to the one loss side.  Waiting for Shaun Wilkie on the one loss side was Eddie Abraham. This was a one sided match with Abraham running away with the match from the start, winning easily 6-2 to get to the finals.

In the finals it was Eddie Abraham vs Adam Kielar. Abraham would have to beat Kielar twice to win the event but it was all Kielar winning easily 7-3 to win the event and his first Mezz tour stop.  I would like to thank all the sponsors and all the players for their support, hope to see everyone at the next tour stop.
