Kwik-Fire Burns Up Valley Forge

Kelly Fisher barely broke a sweat at the Super Billiards Expo as she dominated the field of sixteen players there to capture the Women's Professional Ten Ball event. This was a single-elimination event, so no mistakes would be tolerated and Fisher certainly showed the way as her shot making simply outclassed the rest of the field.

Fisher, in the limited field, had to win four matches to grab the title and never trailed in a match while this reporter was in the room. She ended the runs for Pam Cimarelli, Jennifer Barretta and Angel Paglia prior to meeting Brittany Bryant in the finals.

Bryant had a good tournament just to get to the finals. She beat Megan Smith and Liz Ford, but then had a very tough time against Sarah Rousey, who led 5-1 at one point in the match before Bryant could regroup and pull out the 9-7 win. There would be no regrouping against the power of Fisher. Kelly Fisher is a very imposing player, one who owns all she needs to be successful, and she appeared very comfortable throughout the match and natural in her role as the Champion.
