Youth Director Leaves EPBF

Personal reasons force Lamminaho to step down from his office

Thursday, July 14, 2011: It is with regret that we have to inform that our Board member Tommi Lamminaho withdrew from his position as Youth Director.

During the past four years, Tommi has played an active role in developing the youth progress in European Pool Billiard. Under his guidance, the Youth program was improved and taken to the level where we find it today.

Tommy has been an asset to the Board of Directors of the EPBF and it has been a pleasure to work with him on the different projects. His resignation is due to the lack of time for his office since he has found a new profession and his private life also changed in a way that does not allow him to travel abroad as much as it is necessary for the job within the EPBF.

“When we received Tommi's letter of resignation, we felt very sorry though we do understand the reasons for it. Personal life sometimes changes and does not give you the options you would want to have”, states EPBF President Gre Leenders. “We will miss Tommi and his good work. We wish him all the best for his future and hope everything turns out to his benefit”. When asked about the successor, Leenders says: “We do have someone we would want to have but things are not finalized yet. As soon as we know details we will publish them”.
