Marietta, Georgia- Daulton, Van Boening, Kiamco, Pinnegar. The Johnny Archer Classic is winding down to the very end with only four players remaining in the field. Warren Kiamco of the Philippines is the last foreigner remaining in the field, but is staying strong and undefeated. He now faces unseeded and unranked Jonathan Pinnegar of Tennesee. Shannon Daulton took a loss from Pinnegar but bounced back with a 9-7 win over Lombardo. Van Boening faces Daulton. The Scorpion Cues Johnny Archer Classic is a Dragon Promotions production and sanctioned by the Association Of Billiard Professionals as an ABP International Points Ranking Tournament and hosted by the Marietta Billiard Club.
Daulton derailed Van Boening earlier in the event 9-6, but Shane bounced back with a convincing 9-1 over China's Can Wang.
"He break, run out. He break, run out. I never shoot", said Wang with a smile and laugh. Many players have been on the same receiving end as the Chinese youngster. Shane went on to defeat Mike Davis 9-2 leaving Davis in 5th place.
Kiamco is looking the strongest thus far with no losses and no close matches yet. In 4 hours we should have the first champion of the Johnny Archer Classic.
