Josh Brothers went for his third straight win on the Hampton Ridge 9-Ball Tour at PJ's Billiards in Lindin, NJ over the weekend. Brothers came up just short of the win; thanks to Santos Sambajon.
Brothers dropped to the one-loss side after a loss to the first tour stops runner up Bristol Bob Begey. Brothers came back with wins over Wali Muhammad 7-3, Trenton Marty 7-3, Phil Sherman 7-3, and Bristol Bob 7-3 to get to the finals.
Sambajon took a quicker route to the finals with wins over Trenton Marty Ciccia 7-3, Brian Kerchner 7-2 Lee Holt 7-2 and Bristol Bob 7-3.
The final match might have been familiar territory for Brothers, but Sambajon made it look easy with a 9-3 win.
