Dr. Cue Presents 20th Annual Junior Artistic Pool Championships at Junior Nationals

April 24, 2013 (Englewood, CO): The Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) is thrilled to announce the 20th Annual Junior Artistic Pool Championships presented by Tom “Dr. Cue” and Marty “Ms. Cue” Rossman. This special anniversary event is just in time for the 25th Annual BEF Junior National 9-Ball Championships at the Convention Center of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The event will encompass the eight disciplines of artistic pool, one important discipline being the lag shot. The Artistic Pool Lag Shootout Challenge has been a great success for many years among amateurs and juniors worldwide.

“Marty and I have been involved with the youth of our sport for over 20 years now.  We believe the skills associated with regular pool disciplines as well as artistic pool challenges continue to educate our younger generation of players in physical, mental, emotional, psychological, and heartfelt traits that will allow them to rack up a victory in their games and lives. In addition, we see how these key principles of personal growth demonstrate to their mentors / parents the value of billiards at many levels of learning. We believe in our youth and we believe in what billiards can do to keep everyone "enjoying the roll" rack after rack and day after day.  Thousands of youthful smiles make it easy for us to continue our support for the game we love,” said Rossman.
