Allison Fisher proved to be too strong for Loree Jon Jones as Allison beat Loree Jon 100-37 to win the $15,000 first prize at the BCA US Open 14.1 Straight Pool Championship.
Loree Jon started the match with a run of 7 before a miss which was followed by a 36 ball run from Allison. Allison then scratched after a safety battle but Loree Jon was only able to run another 7 before scratching. A short 6 ball run from Allison preceded another safety battle which ended this time with Allison escaping a safety and running 28. Both players managed back to back 7 ball runs before the next safety battle which was won by Loree Jon this time. Loree Jon appeared to be getting back into the match but missed after a 22 ball run and never got another chance as Allison ran 28 and out.
The final match of the tournament will pit Ralf Souquet against unbeaten Min-Wai Chin for the men's title. This match will commence immediately following another trick shot exhibition by Mike Massey
