Ralf Souquet is the new BCA 14.1 Straight Pool Champion.

In a tremendous back and forth match highlited by amazing shots, Ralf Souquet came back from the one loss side to beat Min-Wai Chin and capture the BCA Us Open 14.1 Straight Pool Championship.

The first run of the match belonged to Chin who ran 26 before fouling. After Ralf made 1 ball and missed, Chin ran another 14. After a Chin miss, Ralf ran 22 to get back into the match only to miss and see Chin run 21 back to regain the lead 50-39. Ralf then ran 27 to take the lead back. After a safety battle, Ralf had the lead 66-61, and started a run of 41 balls which was highlighted by a 5 ball combination which brought raves from the crowd. After another safety battle it was Chin's turn to run. An awesome 3 ball combo left him in the rack which he escaped from with another combo again drawing cheers from the crowd. Chin's run ended at 32 balls with a miss allowing Ralf back to the table with a 107-95 lead. From there, Ralf ran 43 and out to win the match and the title 150-95.
