Biography

Corey Deuel is widely credited with being the inventor of the 'soft' break in 9-Ball. In the finals of a Camel Pro Series event at Romines Billiards in 1998 Deuel's soft break combined with the racking problems the table was experiencing to cause his opponent, Earl Strickland, to resign in the middle of the final match.
