Tournament Report - Planet Pool 9 Ball Tour Stop # 4

Breaktime Sports Grill & Pub, Salisbury, MD
------------------------------------

Chris crushes competition in city of Salisbury
Despite three other tournaments on the east coast over the weekend of March 25/26 drawing many of our regular Planet Pool 9 Ball Tour participants, the event at Breaktime Sports Grill & Pub still turned out more successful than any of the other three with a total of 64 entries. Congratulations to Chris Loar, who beat Aaron Nicodemus in the final of the open event, and Karen Armstrong, who proved too strong for Women's Division's number 2 on the points list, Tina Mason. We would like to congratulate three local players on their performance over the weekend; Kevin West(4th), Stephen Recker(5th) & Danny Bell(6th). The three of them played extremely well all weekend. As earlier predicted, Chris Loar, from Fredericksburg, VA did indeed step up and "Bust a move" to win an event. At present time, the points race is very close. With his victory here, Chris Loar has just jumped from runner up into the 1st place in the points race. The event at Breaktime was certainly a first class event, and it was held in a room to match. I think everyone present will agree that Breaktime Sports Grill & Pub is an even finer place to play than before the renovation. The great food, music, friendliness, playing conditions, and generally the whole atmosphere certainly added to the event. We look forward to our next event at Breaktime in the fall.

Tour sponsors Mike Capone & Ted Harris were present for the event, with Ted Harris doing repairs & displaying cues.
